Return & Refund Policy

At Computer Essentials, customer satisfaction is important to us. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.

1. Return Window

You may request a return within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. Requests made after this window will not be accepted.

2. Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, an item must be:
    • Unused, unopened, and in its original condition
    • In its original packaging, with all tags, seals, manuals, and accessories intact
    • Accompanied by the original invoice or Order ID

3. Non-Returnable Items

Opened toner cartridges, ink bottles/cartridges, and ribbon cartridges with broken seals cannot be returned once opened, as these are consumable goods.
 
Exception: if such an item is verified defective on arrival, it is covered under Section 4 below.

4. Inspection & Approval

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos or a video of the product and packaging. Once verified, we will offer a free replacement or a full refund, at your choice.

5.How to Request a Return

  • Email: computeressentialsmdu@gmail.com or call: 9842154654 with your Order ID and reason for return.
  • Our team will review and confirm approval within 1–2 business days.
  • Once approved, pack the item securely and ship it to our registered business address (below).

6. Return Shipping Costs

Defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items: return shipping is free — we bear the cost, or arrange pickup where available.
Change-of-mind / general returns: the customer bears the return courier charge.

7. Restocking Fees

No restocking fees apply to any approved return.

8. Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of approval or rejection by email.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of approval.
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer or UPI to an account you provide.

9. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, please request a refund and place a new order.

10. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are shipped. Once shipped, the standard return process above applies.
